The idea for Cape Cod Polos came about years ago (thanks to the brains of the family - my brother). He thought it would be cool to design simple polo shirts featuring a small Cape Cod image on the chest. Highly motivated, I ordered hundreds of shirts, visited multiple embroidery establishments, bought a URL and began building out a website until one day when I saw someone wearing a very similar version of what I thought my brother had "invented."
I was bummed and everything kind of came to a screeching halt. But, years later I still cannot let this idea go and there is a reason for that. I decided that there are variations of everything in this world (cars, vacuums, shoes, the list goes on) but, we all choose to purchase one brand over the next for one reason or another, right? So I decided that just because I saw one shirt with a similar design, I was not going to let that interfere with our dream. I was really going to do this, to finish what I started so long ago.
Now a few years older (and wiser) and with years of Marketing knowledge under my belt I am ready to pursue this endeavor for real.
We are, after all, Cape Cod Polos - the only authentic Cape Cod Polo company out there and we have the name to prove it.
